With the release of Geo 2008, we've introduced a new license management system which makes use of certificates. Since license information is connected to your hardware lock, you now use DongleTool instead of a license code to manage your license options.
If Geo is run via SBG's license servers, it's now also possible to check out modules temporarily to a hardware lock with the help of DongleTool.

Renewal of subscription / Changing module setup (Single HL)
Use DongleTool to update subscription for SBG Geo or to unlock new modules purchased for the license.
Insert HASP-HL hardware lock into USB port.
Go to Start | All Programs | SBG and select DongleTool.

To change the subscription date or to add/remove modules it is first necessary to check in the current license to the license server. This is done by pressing "Check In". Switch to the "License Server" tab.

Select the modules open for use and then press "Check Out". This will give the hardware lock a new certificate containing the updated information.
Note that it is necessary to be connected to the Internet while doing this.
If no Internet access is available, it is possible to receive the certificate on a compact disc and then manually update the hardware lock. Insert the received media into the PC and switch to the "Local File" tab. Browse for the file and then select modules and check out as described above.
