Locate your position on-site, anywhere, at any time
GeoPad Site Navigator is compatible with many rugged and non-rugged Windows compatible handheld devices. Depending on the chosen handheld device, a built-in GPS allows the user to see current chainage and offset with respect to an alignment or the current height differ-ence with respect to the design surface (accuracy 2-15m). Devices may also be mounted on vehicles such as cars or quad bikes and position with respect to the design is tracked dynamically.

Consult design data without a paper plan or an engineer
There is no longer a need to carry paper plans or consult an engineer to check design data. GeoPad Site Navigator uses design data such as AutoCAD® files straight from the project engineers thus allowing the display and query of design entities anywhere on site. Enter a chainage and off-set and GeoPad Site Navigator will show the design height of any point in the design model. The distance between any two points on the design may also be calculated as and when the need arises.

Save time setting-up your measurement sensors
The use of machine control systems on construction sites has led to an increase in the use of measurement sensors such as total stations and GPS by many non-specialist staff. Delays are often caused by having to wait for site engineering staff to set-up the measurement sensors. Geo-Pad Site Navigator has a simple user interface that allows a non-specialist to set-up a GPS base station or a total sta-tion from most major manufacturers for use with machine control systems. Software wizards guide the user through the process and eliminate the risk of errors.

Navigate from site to site
Depending on the chosen handheld device, in-car naviga-tion software may be used to travel from site to site with-out getting lost! From project managers to site foreman, Site Navigator is a unique aid for all on-site staff.
