As a true outdoor rugged handheld, the Nomad meets the rigorous MIL-STD-810F military standard for drops, vibration, humidity, altitude and extreme temperatures. Nomad is IP67 rated, which means that it is completely sealed against dust and water.
Nomad comes with a powerful 806 MHz Marvell PXA320 XScale processor, 128 MB DDR SDRAM, a choice of 512 MB or 1 GB of Flash memory. It has a hot-swappable Lithium Ion battery that can work all day without a recharge.
A full VGA display and touchscreen offers sharp, high-resolution graphics even in bright sunlight, making it ideal for any graphic intense application. The numeric keypad has backlight for night use or dark environments. The Nomad also includes the latest Windows Mobile 6 software. |
