It is an all new reference type that uses parallel stringlines. It’s the perfect choice for roads and similar long stretched objects. It will give you unsurpassed possibilities for displaying and managing data in the field.

The Stringline model can be used across all three SBG platforms allowing for easy stakeout and machine control.

Geo - Office software
Geopad - Field software
Georog - Machine control software

The new Stringline model will greatly improve your productivity when working in the field. To name a few of the new graphical views:

  • Graphical display of cross sections and the buildup layers
  • Graphical display of special slope
  • You may lock to a cross section or individual stringline by clicking on it
  • Parallel movement of a cross section element by clicking and giving an offset value
  • Extra elements with height and side offset

The new stringline model file (*.lmd) combines and interconnects the data from three files. The *.lmd file also contains the buildup layers information

  • Centre line data (*.lin)
  • Profile data (*.prf)
  • Line collection (*.geo) contains all of the individual stringlines.

The new stringline model contains the following build up information:

  • 10 diffent build up layers of varying thickness
  • Inner and outer special slopes
  • The slope of the terrace may be set independent of the top layer
  • Separate definition of deep cut
  • The above are just a few of the buildup layer possibilities that this new model offers

You may create separate stringline models out of each buildup layer in an MBS och Novapoint file. The alternate route is to use a stringline model based on the top layer and add the buildup layer information directly to the file

Buildup layer information can be imported directly from Anpakke or Novapoint (*.OVB)
