It handles extreme heat, up to 60° and extreme cold, down to -30°. This combined with up to 30 hours of continuous operation makes the Ranger the ultimate choice for tough outdoors conditions.
The next generation Ranger is now available in two models, the economical 300X and the powerful 500X. With two new CompactFlash slots (CF) and a Secure Data (SD) slot you increase data storage and add multiple accessories such as GPS, GPRS, RFID readers and other CF devices. Using the new SD slot lets you add data storage without sacrificing a CF slot.
Integrated Bluetooth is standard for Ranger 500X and optional for Ranger 300X. Integrated 802.11b WLAN is optional for both models.
The Ranger features an easy-to-read display for all kinds of lighting conditions, even direct sunlight. Ergonomic navigation, alpha and numeric keypads make it easy to operate even when wearing gloves.
